Experiencing Biblical Community: Born to Belong (Matthew Balentine)
Sunday Oct 13, 2019
Sunday Oct 13, 2019
Matthew begins a series titled, "Experiencing Biblical Community," based upon the early growth of the church as seen in the Book of Acts. In this first sermon, we look at a small group of 120 believers, who grew into a megachurch in Jerusalem and then planted churches throughout the world. Our society today, while one of tremendous connectivity, is also a society of loneliness. We are connected, but we don't have relationships. Fortunately, we learn from this lesson that there are things we can do to have the type of community we see in the first-century church.
